Traumatology and Orthopedics Department

The department performs surgical interventions on trauma and orthopedic patients as part of rehabilitation care using high-tech equipment and performing high-tech operations:

  • Bone-plastic operations for false joints of long tubular bones
  • Arthroscopy of the knee joint with meniscectomy for meniscus damage and deforming arthrosis of the knee joint
  • Bone-plastic surgery for plantar feet and deviation of the first toe
  • Dissection of the palmar aponeurosis for Dupuytren's contracture
  • Removal of metal structures
  • Removal of hygromes, ganglion, osteomas, osteochondral cartilage exostoses
  • Removal of Becker's cysts
  • After surgical intervention, all patients undergo a complex of therapeutic and rehabilitation measures according to hospital standards of early rehabilitation.

REQUIREMENTS FOR HOSPITALIZATION

To be hospitalized for endoprosthetic replacement surgery, you must be examined in the outpatient clinic beforehand.

WHEN YOU ARE ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL, YOU MUST BRING WITH YOU:

  • Passport (identification card)
  • Referral from the clinic for hospitalization
  • Documents confirming the waiting list for arthroplasty (call for hospitalization and/or minutes of the meeting of the arthroplasty committee)
  • X-ray of the hip (no more than 3 months old), preferably on film
  • Densitometry data
  • Laboratory tests (no more than 10 days old): complete blood count, complete urine test, blood glucose, biochemical tests (total protein, bilirubin, transaminases, urea, K, Ca, Na, Cl, amylase), coagulogram, PTI (prothrombin index), RW (Wasserman test)
  • ECG
  • Conclusion of the consultation with a general practitioner
  • In patients with diabetes the analysis on glycated hemoglobin
  • History of pulmonary X-rays or chest X-rays (in the last six months)
  • Ultrasound of lower extremity veins
  • FGDS
  • Vaccination records
  • Gynecologist exam (for women)
  • Dental exam
  • Examination of the otorhinolaryngologist (ENT)
  • PCR (smear) for COVID-19 (performed according to indications)
