The department has 40 places and is designed to provide treatment and rehabilitation measures for patients with injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system with inpatient early and late medical rehabilitation.

The main goal of the department is the full or partial restoration or reduction of the severity of disabilities resulting from injuries or orthopedic pathology, achieving a reduction in the period of disability.

Indications for inpatient rehabilitation:

• The early period after operations for injuries, diseases, consequences of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system;
• Early post-immobilization period after operations for injuries, diseases, consequences of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system;
• Early post-immobilization period for conservative treatment of injuries and their consequences;
• Late recovery period (up to 1 year) after injuries and (or) operations for injuries or diseases of the musculoskeletal system with pronounced impairment of statodynamic function, in the presence of rehabilitation potential, which allows us to expect a positive effect from medical rehabilitation.

The course of medical rehabilitation includes:

• therapeutic physical training (TPT) (group exercises with an instructor, mechanotherapy, ergotherapy);
• physiotherapeutic treatment (PTT) (electrotherapy, light and magnetic therapy, heat therapy, magnetolaser therapy, hand massage, etc.)
• Consultation and work with a psychologist;
• medicated treatment (on medical grounds).
