Rehabilitation Department No.1 of the 11 City Clinical Hospital has been functioning since November 2008.

The department is designed for comprehensive (medication, physical, psychological, social) rehabilitation of cardiac patients (CHD patients after myocardial infarction, after angioplasty and coronary stenting, after reconstructive operations on heart and vessels) with an inpatient rehabilitation stage, consisting of:

• inpatient medical rehabilitation period;
• Inpatient early medical rehabilitation period; 
• Inpatient period of late medical rehabilitation.

As part of the rehabilitation period, our hospital specialists will:

• Assessment of the patient's clinical condition;
• Diagnosis and control of risk factors for CHD; 
• Optimization of pharmacological treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system; 
• Physical rehabilitation - a stepwise and controlled increase in physical activity, adapted to the individual capabilities of the person; 
• Psychosocial rehabilitation, the purpose of which is to teach the patient to help himself/herself in stressful situations, emotional states, such as fear and/or depression, to develop the ability to adapt psychologically to the consequences of the disease; 
• training of patients and their relatives;
• monitoring the effects of cardiological rehabilitation.
